Lactobacillus sporogenes (1.000.000.000 spore) per 1 capsule
Probiotics are living, non-pathogenic microorganisms that are beneficial to your health. They affect the profile of the intestinal flora or so-called gut microbiota. In doing so, they play a role in the regulation of the immune system and reduce the incidence and severity of gastrointestinal and respiratory infections.
This particular strain is more acid-tolerant than pathogenic and spoilage microorganisms.
When ingested, spores of L. sporogenes can withstand the acidic environment of the GI tract within a few hours. After that, L. sporogenes is metabolically active as part of the intestine, producing L-(+)-lactic acid as the primary product of fermentation.
The main mechanism for survival and gaining the number of L. sporogenes is "Competitive Exclusion," which is generally applied via competition for limited nutrients.
However, the acidic environment created by the production of L-(+)-lactic acid prevents the growth of pathogenic microbes and allows the growth of L. sporogenes, which ultimately dominate the microflora.
HOW TO USE PROBIOTIC
Recommeded daily dose: 1-3 capsule/per day with a glass of water after meals.
