When used with a compatible light fitting and bulb, the salt crystal produces a soft amber glow that is ideal for bedrooms, living rooms, meditation spaces, treatment rooms and cosy relaxation areas. Its organic appearance complements bohemian, rustic, wellness-inspired and contemporary interiors, making it attractive even when it is not illuminated.
Each lamp weighs approximately 2–3kg and is formed from natural salt, so no two pieces will be identical. Variations in shape, size and colour—from pale peach and warm orange to deeper pink tones—are part of its authentic character.
Important: This product is supplied without a light fitting, bulb or plug. Compatible electrical components must be purchased separately and installed according to their instructions.
Himalayan salt is hygroscopic, meaning it naturally absorbs moisture from the surrounding air. In humid conditions, the lamp may appear to “sweat” or release small amounts of water. This is a normal property of salt and not a product defect.
Place the lamp on a tray or protective plate to prevent moisture from reaching furniture. Wipe it gently with a clean, dry cloth and remove loose crystals using a soft brush. If necessary, allow it to dry in a warm, dry place or bright sunlight for several hours.
When fitted with electrical components, disconnect them before cleaning or during extended periods of non-use. Store the salt lamp in a dry environment. The protective cardboard packaging may occasionally feel damp during transport because of the salt’s moisture-absorbing properties.
Himalayan salt lamps are decorative ambient lights. Claims that they significantly improve health or air quality through ion production are not supported by reliable scientific evidence.
