Αιθέριο Έλαιο Κιτρονέλλας Αποστάζεται με ατμό από τα φύλλα και τους μίσχους του είδους φυτών Cymbopogon, ιδιαίτερα του Cymbopogon Winterianus. Το έλαιο κιτρονέλλας είναι γνωστό ως φυτικό εντομοαπωθητικό, ένα βιο-φυτοφάρμακο με μη τοξικό τρόπο δράσης και έχει καταχωρηθεί για αυτή τη χρήση στις ΗΠΑ από το 1948.
