Ingredients

“Matcha ceremonial tenno grade” refers to a high-quality matcha, a type of finely ground green tea in powder form. Matcha is made from shade-grown tea leaves, which are carefully ground into a fine powder, resulting in a vibrant green powder with a distinct flavor profile and numerous health benefits.

'Ceremonial grade' indicates that the matcha is of the highest quality and suitable for use in traditional Japanese tea ceremonies. Ceremonial grade matcha is made from the youngest, softest tea leaves, usually harvested by hand. These leaves are carefully processed to preserve their delicate flavors and vibrant green color.

Usage

Spoon half a teaspoon (or 1 gram) of matcha tea into a glass bowl. Break the powder with a whisk (in Japan a traditional bamboo brush is used) so that there are no lumps.

2. Add about 80ml of hot water (not boiling!). Beat the mixture into an M or W shape until foam forms. Drink it slowly (but make sure you finish your tea before the powder starts to settle at the bottom.)
