Description

Oftenly used in the kitchen, Sweet Orange is usually used as a fruit to aromatize sweets and cakes and prepare cocktails; the essential oil obtained from this fruit has a lot of beneficial properties, such as deodorant and disinfectant ones.
The sweet orange essential oil is considered a mild sedative and can be used to fight insomnia naturally; it is useful in aromatherapy to counter nervousness, anxiety and soothe the symptoms of stress. Not only is it used with ultrasonic diffuser technology for internal use, it can help digestion by combating meteorism and constipation.
It performs a muscle-relaxing action, it is indicated for massages to soothe heavy muscle and muscle tension, and also its astringent properties are useful for treating acne and in case of greasy hair.

Use and maintenance

Internal use: The essential oil of sweet orange accompanies well other plant extracts such as ginger and cinnamon in draining and purifying infusions.

Draining and relaxing bath: A few drops can be useful in a bath or in the Jacuzzi to enhance the draining and relaxing effect.

Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Not indicated for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Never use pure.
Do not take internally if not properly diluted. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Sweet orange is a photosensitive essential oil: avoid exposure to the sun for at least 24 hours after application.
